Event Procedures
The Barrenjoey Women’s Classic will be played in the 2nd week of February as follows:

Monday: Divisions 1 and 2, 18 holes Stroke. Division 3, 18 holes Stableford. Tee times start from
7.30am. Seeded draw.

Tuesday: 18-holes Foursomes Stroke play (Division determined by lowest GA handicap, playing
off 1⁄2 combined handicaps) Tee times from 7:30am.

Thursday: 18-holes Best Ball Teams 2 scores to count (no divisions) Shotgun start 8:00am.

Ties: All ties shall be determined using the Golf Australia Countback System.
Rules of Play
- The Rules of Golf, as adopted by R&A Rules Limited, will apply, together with Golf NSW, Golf Australia and any additional Local Rules as drawn up by the Match Committee.
Entries
GA Handicap:
- Eligible players are amateurs whose GA Handicap (or overseas equivalent) does not exceed 45.4 strokes at time of entry. Should a player’s GA handicap on the day of play be above the handicap limit in their allocated division they will play off the maximum GA handicap for that division throughout the duration of the event. Should a player’s GA handicap on the day be below the handicap limit they will play off their current handicap for the duration of the event. However the daily handicap must not exceed 45
Entry fees will only be refunded in the case of a withdrawal being advised before the closing date or after closing date prior to the start of the tournament for medical reasons (a medical certificate must accompany a request for withdrawal on medical grounds). All refunds will incur a $10 processing fee.
In the event of cancellation of any part of the event due to adverse weather, no refunds will be made.
Number of Divisions, Courses to be used, Programme and Handicap limits for each Division will be determined after close of entries and determined by the number of entries. The Match Committee will allocate Players to a division based upon their handicap at the time of the draw. In the event of a partner in the Foursomes Event being unable to compete, a replacement on a similar handicap may be substituted. No additional fee is payable, provided an entry fee for that event has been paid by the original player.
Note: It is the responsibility of each player to check the division she has been placed in and if she believes there has been an error to notify the Match Secretary immediately.
In the event of a dispute the Match Committee’s decision will be final.
Motorised Transport
Motorised transport is permitted for all players.

Priority is given to players with medical needs upon presentation of a current Medical Certificate.

Carts for medical purposes may be reserved at time of Entry.

All other Players must make their own arrangements to reserve a cart by telephoning the Pro
Shop at the relevant course after publication of the draw.

Payment may be required at the time of booking and hire charges are at the discretion of each
club.

The number of golf carts available is determined by each host club and not by Barrenjoey Week
of Golf.
5.Registration and Time of Starting
Competitors MUST register 30 mins before their starting time on each day of play.
Pace of Play Rule
5.6a will be strictly enforced.
Distance Measuring Devices
Distance measuring devices may be used outlined in Rule 4.3a. 8. Dress Regulations, Player Conduct.
All players are required to comply with the dress regulations of venue clubs. All players must adhere to commonly accepted standards of golfing etiquette and sportsmanship in accordance with Rule 1.
Mobile Phones
- The use of mobile phones is not permitted on the course or during play except in the case of an emergency. Mobile phones may be used for GPS measuring or scoring purposes only.
Caddies

Caddies may be used by Division 1 & 2 players during the 18 hole stroke play competition held on Monday with the Prior consent of the Match Committee.
Trophies
- In any event, a player may not win both the scratch and the nett prize. In the tournament a player may only win one Perpetual Trophy.

Major Trophy presentation will be held on Thursday night at the Host Club from 6:00pm
12. Marketing
Barrenjoey Women's Classic reserves the right to collect visual images of participants and to use any such images in our marketing and advertising including social media in perpetuity. You may specifically request in writing to have any images of you excluded from such marketing material. Please email publicity@barrenjoeywomensclassic.com.au
